EVENT BRANDING / PRINT
The event branding for a comedy festival based in Birmingham, UK. A piece of off-screen artwork was created to be used as a device to assist the concept of 'laughing together'. It aims to be inclusive to the varied population of the city and encourages everyone to spread the joy in laughter.
This is a Shillington student project.
Laughter is an expression seen across all human cultures.
Between all ages and nationalities, laughter is something that brings people together in difficult times and provides an escape to joy.
The artwork was created using solder, and morphed into an audience cheering for an encore. Using one solid line to shape the people represents the collective feeling shared among them, and the electric feeling of people coming together to laugh
